ASC - Troubleshoot


You have a problem with the activation software ?

This article summarise the issues that may be encountered with the ASC, and their potential solutions:

If you can't reach your ASC account, please follow the instructions below.

  1. Check your Internet connection.
  2. On the ASC, check that you used your Arturia account email address, or your username
    Tip: If you forgot your ASC password, you can reset it with the link Forgot your password.
  3. Check that you can sign in on the Webpage https://www.arturia.com/login
    and try to sign in again on the ASC (if you can connect on the Webpage it means that your account is activated and known by Arturia).
  4. If you still can't connect to your account,
    contact the Webmaster here: http://arturia.com/contact.
If the activation operation doesn't turn out well, please follow the instructions below.

  1. On the ASC, go back to the Sign In page.
  2. Sign In again.
  3. Retry to activate the machine.activate2encadr
  4. If you still can't activate the machine, contact the Webmaster here: http://arturia.com/contact.
If your licenses are not visible in your ASC product list, please follow the instructions below.

  1. On the ASC, click on the gears icon to the left : you have access to your ASC settings.
  2. Click on the Sync button.syncencadre
  3. Click on the house icon in the top left corner to go back to the product list.
  4. If you still can't see your products in this list, go to https://www.arturia.com/myarturia
  5. Check that the licenses appear in the section My Products, in your My Arturia account.myproduct2encadr
  6. If not, your product license is not registered (you didn't declare it in your My Arturia account),
    register it here: https://www.arturia.com/support/registeryourproduct
If the ASC is not installed on your computer after the set up operation, please follow the instructions below.

  1. Make sure your computer follows the requirements:
    • Windows 7 or higher
    • Mac OS 10.8 or higher
  2.  For MAC OSX : Make sure your security settings are on "EveryWhere"

Error-01

When you see this "Error 01" message, when the ASC cannot connect or when your password is invalid, please follow the instructions below.

  1. Completely shut down your computer.
  2. In your computer, remove this file:
    /Library/LaunchAgents/com.Arturia.ArturiaSoftwareCenterAgent.plist
  3. If the problem remains, get the latest version of the ASC on the Website and reinstall it.
The issue is that you may have old licenses of the "vintage collection" which had no "unlock code".
Since the 11th of December 2014, you all have an unlock code that you can see in your My Arturia.

  • Online :   
    1. On the ASC, click on the gears icon to the left : you have access to your ASC settings.
    2. Click on the Sync button.syncencadre
    3. Else, quit and restart the ASC. This will enforce a license update with the new unlock codes.

  • Offline : Use the "activate your products" procedure again, to get an up to date file of licenses from the Website.
RegisFail

If you have this message when you open a software, please follow the instructions below.


    1. Open the ASC and sign in.
    2. On the ASC, click on the gears icon to the left: you have access to your ASC settings.
    3. Click on Deactivate all.desactivateencdre
    4. Download the latest ASC version.
    5. Re-install ASC.
    6. Reboot your computer.
    7. If still a problem go to: Library>Arturia>ArturiaSoftwareCenter
    8. Change the permission on each files:
      1. Right click on each file this will open a menu.
      2. Go to the permission section.
      3. Add Read and Write under each users.etape8encadretape82encadr
      If you have this message, please follow the instructions below.
    1. Open the ASC.
    2. On the ASC, click on the gears icon to the left : you have access to your ASC settings.
    3. Press the Sync button.syncencadre
    4. Try to activate your product(s).

If your plugin doesn't appear in the product list when opening the ASC, please download the latest ASC version and try again to reach your product list.
