Sound Designers' Word

Diego Tejeida is a sound designer, synth player, and producer best known for his work in the progressive rock and metal community. He’s also contributed to a variety of projects, such as Haken, Mike Portnoy’s Shattered Fortress, and Devin Townsend. He’s currently working on a few secret projects to be announced in the next few months.

“For each patch on this bank, my approach was all about creating a scene within a landscape. The depth of these landscapes is often defined by the textural elements and the way the sound behaves. As a big fan of horror films and literature, this project allowed me to explore and channel the twisted psychological nature of this type of art. Fortunately, the PolyBrute has a myriad of modulation and sound-bending sources to help create such a macabre universe.”
