Mode-aware encoders

A dedicated Control button and 4 encoders put core edits under your fingers while playing. Switch between Seq, Arp, Chord, and Mutate, and the encoders automatically remap to the parameters that matter in the moment.

Deeper MIDI + CV control

Tap MIDI CC for 16 assignable controls across 4 banks, mapped to the encoders and available across modes. Plus, controllable CVMOD outputs let you adapt modulation type and range to your modular gear fast.

Choose from 16 arp types including Poly, Walk, Pattern, and Random. Phrase Arp remaps your sequence to played notes for immediate, musical mutations.

Controller mode

With MIDI, USB, and CV, KeyStep 37 mk2 handles it all. Use it as a central controller to sequence gear, input chords, or modulate CV synths from one compact keyboard.
