    AstroLab’s Navigation Wheel features a vibrant display and graphical interface that lets you control your sounds, playlists and settings with ease, while providing an animated visual cue for each instrument as you cycle through them.

    To swiftly move between instrument types, AstroLab features dedicated preset buttons, enabling you to go from keys to basses to organs in a single gesture.

    Chord, scale arp & hold

    Engage chord play or scale mode, activate the Arpeggiator, or engage Hold to keep notes, chords or arps sustained after you’ve released the keys.

    Use the part button to select & customize multi or split sound presets. Go between a split keyboard mode for distinct multi-timbral play or play with two sounds in synchrony.

Polyphony

AstroLab optimizes Polyphony for each instrument to ensure the best reliability and performance:

  • Pianos, EPs and organs have 48 voices
  • Most synths have 8 voices

ACID V, Buchla Easel V, Synthi V, KORG MS-20 V are monophonic

Pigments and Augmented instruments’s polyphony may vary depending on engine and effect usage.

Preset compatibility

V Collection X instruments and Pigments are supported except for Mellotron V* and CP-70 V. See FAQ for more information of supported instruments and versions.

*Mellotron presets are available as presets of AstroLab's Sampler instrument.

Future compatibility

We are committed to the ongoing support of AstroLab, and the continuous development of its features, performance and compatibility with our latest software instruments.

Ensuring new instruments work perfectly on AstroLab takes time, therefore, they may not always be available for use on AstroLab upon release.
