Why Audiofuse
Studio?

Today, you’re tracking a string quartet for an independent film. Tomorrow you’re running a vocal session for your band, and in the evening you’re gigging. At the weekend, you’re mastering your client’s new album, and somewhere in the middle of all that you’re going to find time to sketch out ideas for your new side project.

Sounds like you need a recording interface that will keep up with your creativity; an interface that can handle every scenario; an interface that won’t let you down.

Simply put, it means your interface will handle any challenge you throw at it.

World-class
preamps

Our whole AudioFuse range uses our exclusive DiscretePRO© microphone preamps with fully independent Mic/Line circuits.

AudioFuse Studio features 4 of these pristine preamps, and their specs are outstanding.

Almost 120dB of dynamic range, less than -129dBu input noise, a +/-0.05dB flat frequency response, but what does all this mean in practice?

Our DiscretePRO preamps don't add any unwanted artefacts into your sound. After all, you want to hear your instrument, not your interface. AudioFuse Studio has crystal clear, transparent sound at every stage. Recording something delicate? Crank your gain, safe in the knowledge that you won't add any hiss or noise to your recording.

You can always add color to your sound later using the included AudioFuse Creative Suite, a collection of perfectly emulated signal processing from iconic, vintage studio consoles and synths.

21st century
features

AudioFuse Studio also features 4 additional line-level inputs on the rear panel so you can hook up more synths or drum machines.

Two of those can also be used as a dedicated phono input with integrated RIAA preamp, letting you listen to or sample vinyl straight from your turntable.

Reamping

Two dedicated “reamp” outputs let you get creative with your guitars. Hook up your favorite guitar or bass, feed the duplicate signal from one of the reamp outputs to your amp of choice, mic it up, and simultaneously track your dry signal and the sound from your amplifier.

You can even use the dedicated Reamp outputs to add valve amp distortion to your drum tracks, vocals, or anything you like! Get perfect tone with every take.

Bluetooth

AudioFuse Studio features built-in Bluetooth streaming. Enjoy streaming music from your phone to your studio monitors in your down time or when you’re entertaining. Let your clients easily share their ideas for tracks, just ask them to stream it, and track it in your DAW.

Using Bluetooth for streaming audio is fast, convenient, but it isn’t usually great quality. This is where AudioFuse Studio is unique. We’ve integrated the best AAC codec and highest quality aptX connections available on the market, so you don’t have to sacrifice quality for convenience.

Powerful,
versatile inputs

AudioFuse Studio features 8 analog input channels. These aren’t just any inputs, these are our exclusive, award-winning DiscretePRO© microphone and instrument preamps.

The 4 front-loading inputs feature a combi-jack connection, so can be used either for microphones or line-level instruments. Each of these channels provides an astounding level of noiseless gain, as well as switchable attenuators.

This means you can use practically any source for your audio, from hot line signals all the way to low output vintage mics without any external processing.

One interface
that does it all

When you’re running more adventurous projects, you’ll often find that inputs alone aren’t enough. You need more versatility, more options, and more power. This is where AudioFuse Studio really shines.

Dedicated Insert Points

Want to use your collection of signal processing gear? Or maybe you’re tracking at a studio, and they have some tasty compressors or EQs in their rack. AudioFuse Studio makes using them easy. Inputs 1 to 4 feature dedicated insert points, so you can set up 4 unique signal chains at the input stage and record the processed audio.

Sample Vinyl With Ease

AudioFuse Studio also features 4 additional line-level inputs on the rear panel so you can hook up more synths or drum machines. Two of those can also be used as a dedicated phono input with integrated RIAA preamp, letting you listen to or sample vinyl straight from your turntable.

Digital connectivity

Connect expanders and other interfaces with ADAT, create your dream recording environment using your favorite gear, and keep everything perfectly synchronized with Word Clock. The scope for expandability with the AudioFuse range is simply awesome, and all with the finest quality possible.

Analog powerhouse

It's not just our preamps that sound amazing, every analog element of the AudioFuse series has been carefully designed and crafted from the highest quality components to give you the best experience possible, from the headphone amps to the satisfying, snug input sockets.

One-button, one-function

It's a simple philosophy, but it's crucial to keeping you in the creative zone. With AudioFuse, it's all about workflow. You don't need to second guess yourself. Want to engage phantom power? Press the dedicated button. Want to switch input impedance? Press the button. You get the idea.

Outstanding Stability

Our AudioFuse range use the finest convertors from the AKM® premium series to translate your creativity from the analog to the digital realm, and back again. This keeps your audio pristine, and the outstandingly stable internal reference clock keeps your experience jitter-free.

This isn’t a case of “this” or “that”, you can use all of these features at the same time.

A total
monitoring solution

When you’re tracking, mixing, mastering, or just listening to music, you need your monitoring setup to be as simple, pain-free, and transparent as possible. AudioFuse Studio gives you the best monitoring experience, with workflow and ease of use at its heart

Speaker A/B

AudioFuse Studio features twin stereo speaker outputs, and a dedicated “Speaker A/B” switching button so you can cross-reference your music on 2 different audio systems. Setting this up is easy, and the AudioFuse Control Center makes levelling and calibrating their volumes simple.

Dedicated Controls

While you’re listening, everything is at your fingertips. Do your headphones need more volume than your bandmates? The headphones have independent volume control. You can forget about adapters too, Audio Studio has headphone sockets for both sizes. Need to explain a musical idea? Use the dedicated “Dim” button so you don’t have to shout. Spare yourself the clunks and pops while you connect instruments and gear with the “Mute” button. Want to check your mono compatibility? You guessed it, there’s a also dedicated “Mono” button for the main mix, and both headphones.

Keep Talking

AudioFuse Studio also includes a built-in “talkback” mic and dedicated button, so you can give your talent direction even if you’re using a multi-room setup. The talkback mic also has its own input channel, which is really handy for making mix notes in your track, or instantly laying down demo melody ideas or lyric guides without having to set up a microphone.

A perfect
control center (AFCC)

Beneath the intuitive, hands-on control on the surface of AudioFuse lies the power and versatility of a pro studio.

AudioFuse allows you to keep on top of your projects, so you can feel confident no matter what musical scenario comes your way.

As the next-generation audio interface, AudioFuse lets you access a large number of fundamental features directly from its top panel. Once it's connected to a computer, AudioFuse transforms into a full-featured mixing console.

AudioFuse Control Center controls the mixer, selection of inputs, routing, monitoring, and additional functions such as sampling rate, Clock Source, Pad, Cue, and more. Another useful touch is that AudioFuse will remember the latest AFCC settings for standalone use until the next time you connect and change them.

Spoiled
for choice

Our AudioFuse interface range give you all the options you need.

Think of our audio interfaces as an interpreter for your creativity.

Your instruments, devices, software, outboard hardware, and microphones speak a mix of binary code, acoustic vibration, and electrical signals.

The Arturia AudioFuse range brings everything together in harmony.

Compatibility with all platforms

Professional and flexible, the AudioFuserange can work with any system, whether on PC or Mac. No matter your device, AudioFuse brings your musical world together and keeps everything simple.

Plug & Play, No specific drivers

While you can go “under the hood” and get more out of our AudioFuse range with the AudioFuse Control Center, you can also use its basic functions straight out of the box. We made the decision to use generic drivers and universal USB-C to ensure you're always ready to record.

Low Latency

AudioFuse features exceptionally low latency as low as 3ms depending on your set-up, with a frequently measured value of 4.5ms on a wide range of computers. This lets you get right in the pocket of your groove when tracking, and makes for an immediate, tactile feel when performing.

Expandability

Our AudioFuse range can be connected together in a variety of ways, cascading their inputs and outputs, and hugely expanding the scope and capability of your setup. Record more sources, send signals to more destinations, the creative possibilities are awesome.

USB-C

AudioFuse Studio and AudioFuse 8Pre use the contemporary USB-C connection for its great latency, superb bandwidth, and backward USB2 compatibility. Now you can record anywhere, in any studio or creative space, safe in the knowledge your gear will simply work.

Specifications

No matter what spec you look at, you'll find uncompromising quality at every point.

We present actual real-world performance measurements (in compliance with AES17 standards) rather than the misleading chipset performance that companies sometimes publish.
